How to put songs on your device, save space, and make playlists.

Importing from device

Pick songs on your device, or copy them from a computer.

  1. 1In Library, tap + and choose songs.
  2. 2The songs are copied to the app and will remain there.
  3. 3You can delete the originals from your storage if you need to.

Importing from computer

  1. 1Connect your device to a computer using a USB cable.
  2. 2Go to your device in Finder (or Windows Explorer) and open the Files tab.
  3. 3Expand Prepper Player and drag the files you want to add to the Music directory. You can add directories there, and all the music files inside will be added.
  4. 4After the files are copied, open the app on your device and go to Library. The app will ask you if you want to import the new files. If you have automatic import enabled, it will happen in the background.
